Job summary

TechSource, a Salas O'Brien company, seeks a Program Engineer for on-site work in Albuquerque, NM. You will support the Federal Program Manager and liaise with NNSA/DOD while maintaining program baselines and managing risks across defense programs.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in engineering or science, 10+ years in program management for nuclear systems, and an active Q or Top Secret clearance. Travel ~20% may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science (required).
• Active Q or Top Secret security clearance.
• 10+ years in project/program management for nuclear weapons.
• Experience with NNSA and DoD interagency programs.
• Knowledge of 6.X process and related defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Federal Program Office on cost, scope, and schedule.
• Apply systems engineering to maintain an integrated program baseline.
• Use risk management and portfolio tools to manage responsibilities.
• Identify risks, develop mitigations, and track issues.
• Participate in IPT and joint DOW/NNSA meetings.
• Guide program integration and overall program success.
