Zusammenfassung

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a lead structural engineer to guide a team on nuclear facility projects, applying expertise in materials, analysis, and reinforced concrete design. You will develop specifications, review calculations, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role includes potential travel for design reviews and field coordination, with a hybrid work arrangement (three days in-office, two remote) and relocation support depending on location.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Ten+ years of experience in nuclear facility design and analysis as part of a project team
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS
• Familiarity with design codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, N690, ACI 318, and ACI 349
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be fully bilingual in both Spanish and English (read, speak, and write)
• MSCE degree
• On site construction support experience
• PE or SE license

Aufgaben

• Lead a design engineering team with a focus on materials, structural analysis, and reinforced concrete design
• Guide the preparation, review, and issuance of design calculations and specifications; coordinate with designers for drawings
• Oversee structural analysis and design of steel frames, concrete members, equipment, and foundations
• Travel to client and vendor offices for reviews and field coordination as needed
