Job summary

X Energy, LLC is seeking an experienced Security Analyst to support Plant Security for the Xe-100 project from Gaithersburg, MD. You will help develop security plans, oversee access programs, and lead training for security staff.

The role requires deep NRC knowledge, experience with SGI, and hands-on security systems expertise, with onsite work four days per week and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years of security or nuclear security experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management or related field.
• Expert understanding of NRC regulatory requirements and SGI management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security plans for Xe-100 construction and operations.
• Manage Access Authorization and Fitness for Duty programs for both site types.
• Lead training and qualification programs for security personnel.
• Oversee SGI program, including vetting and clearance.
• Provide technical support for surveillance and intrusion-detection systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
