Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Oak Harbor, Ohio is seeking a senior scheduler to lead on-line and outage schedules and coordinate multi-discipline activities to minimize plant risk and outage time.

The role requires a high school diploma and about ten years of power plant scheduling experience, plus familiarity with PRA/Outage Risk Assessment and INPO Work Control Processes. Proficiency with scheduling tools and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (must have).
• Ten years of power plant experience including scheduling.
• Knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance, including PRA and/or Outage Risk Assessment.
• Understanding of INPO Work Control Process for online and/or outages.
• Proficient computer skills in scheduling tools, work order development tools, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure schedules for on-line and/or outages are developed in accordance with Vistra requirements and standards.
• Provide scheduling support for site work groups as assigned.
• Prioritize and schedule the scope of work, materials, and man-hours for all work weeks, outages as assigned.
• Coordinate and schedule operations and maintenance activities to minimize equipment/system out of service time and/or Technical Specification Action Conditions.
• Coordinate and schedule operations and maintenance activities to minimize plant risk.
• Interface with other work groups to identify and collect necessary information in support of schedule development and quality.
• Communicate the schedule with the station through Work Management meetings and/or any other communication tools to ensure a successful schedule.
