Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Oak Harbor, Ohio, seeks a Senior Scheduler to manage on-line and outage schedules, lead major projects, and minimize plant risk. You will scope, schedule, and levelize resources to optimize cost and performance across assigned units.

Your background includes 10+ years in power plant scheduling, familiarity with PRA/outage risk, and INPO Work Control processes. Proficiency with scheduling tools and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Ten years of power plant experience including scheduling and planning requirements.
• Knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance, including clearance and tagging and PRA/outage risk assessment.
• Understanding of the INPO Work Control Process for on-line and/or outages.
• Proficient with scheduling software, work order systems, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure schedules for on-line and/or outages are developed in accordance with Vistra requirements and standards.
• Provide scheduling support for site work groups as assigned; coordinate through an integrated schedule.
• Prioritize and schedule the scope of work, materials, and man-hours for all work weeks and outages.
• Coordinate and schedule operations to minimize out of service time and meet Technical Specifications.
• Coordinate to minimize plant risk and interface with other work groups for schedule development.
• Communicate the schedule with the station through Work Management meetings and other tools.
