Job summary

Framatome in Lynchburg, VA is seeking an experienced engineer to perform non-standard engineering, design and analysis across reactor-related projects. You will work autonomously with minimal guidance, ensuring compliance with regulations and applying diverse technical methods on new tasks.

Preferred skills include familiarity with light water reactors, RELAP simulations, and knowledge of US nuclear safety and licensing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or physics/engineering science variants).
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Good communication to convey detailed technical data.

Responsibilities

• Performs non-standard engineering and new-to-you assignments across design, development, analysis, testing and field tasks.
• Receives minimal guidance and works autonomously on most tasks.
• Ensures compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
