Job summary

Tennessee Valley Authority in Chattanooga, TN, with split-site work to Oak Ridge, TN, seeks a Senior Manager, Nuclear Quality Assurance to establish and sustain a world-class QA program for TVA's New Nuclear Deployment and related projects.

You will lead a team of QA staff, oversee supplier QA, audits, and training, ensure compliance with NRC regs and industry standards, and work with senior management to drive safe, reliable outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science preferred.
• 4+ years of quality verification experience; nuclear power plant exposure preferred.
• Senior reactor operator license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Professional certifications (PE, PMP) encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and administer TVA Nuclear QA plans and procedures.
• Direct oversight of audits, inspections, and performance monitoring.
• Manage vendor QA programs and supplier qualification processes.
• Oversee QA training programs and competency assessments.
• Advise senior management on QA improvements and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with NRC regulations and applicable standards.
