Job summary

Tennessee Valley Authority's Nuclear Power Group in Spring City, TN seeks a journeyman Inspector with multidiscipline certifications to perform inspections and tests supporting plant work. You will coordinate mandatory inspections, assist engineers and maintenance, and advance through specialized NDE/QC programs as workload demands.

Developing through certifications such as volumetric, radiography, eddy current or ultrasonics, you will prepare QA reports, interpret specs, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Level II QC and NDE certifications required.
• Experience in QA inspections and NDE methods preferred.
• Must be able to obtain nuclear plant access and related medical qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections/tests across multiple disciplines to support plant work activities.
• Coordinate inspections/tests and assist engineering, modifications, maintenance in problem resolution.
• Prepare status reports and QA documents attesting to acceptance or rejection.
• Use measuring and test equipment and interpret specifications.
