Job summary

Tennessee Valley Authority is seeking a Journeyman Inspector in the Nuclear QC area at Spring City, TN. The role involves performing multidiscipline QA inspections and tests, coordinating required inspections, and assisting engineering and maintenance to resolve issues.

The position requires certifications in QC areas and NDE methods, as well as the ability to work rotating shifts, be on-call, and travel to plant locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Shall be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must meet Level II certifications in QC areas and NDE methods MT, PT, VTW, VTI 1,2,3,4 as necessary to meet plant workloads.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections/tests in support of plant work activities.
• Prepare written reports and QA documents attesting to acceptance or rejection.
• Coordinate inspections/tests and interface with engineering, maintenance, and modifications teams.
