Job summary

Tridentis is seeking a Senior Nuclear Propulsion Engineer to lead the design, analysis and delivery of nuclear propulsion systems for U.S. Navy marine vessels.

You will provide subject matter expertise on propulsion plants, power architecture, and ship integration while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to meet program objectives. The role requires a strong background in naval nuclear propulsion, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with Navy, NAVSEA and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of engineering experience; Navy propulsion background highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of nuclear power plant operations and interfaces.
• Experience supporting engineering, systems integration, testing, and major naval programs.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis and delivery of nuclear propulsion systems for Navy ships.
• Provide SME guidance on propulsion systems, plant operations, and constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess requirements and impacts on ship design.
• Support integration with ship architecture including power, structure, space and control systems.
• Engage with Navy and industry stakeholders; participate in technical meetings and trade studies.
