Job summary

NuScale Power is seeking a senior project/program leader to drive end-to-end execution of high‑complexity Nuclear SMR programs—from design integration through site deployment, startup, and turnover to operations. The role entails autonomous leadership, multi‑year horizons, and significant travel to support both Houston and Corvallis offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management required; MBA preferred.
• PMI or PMP certification or equivalent required.
• Deep knowledge of PMBOK and EVMS practices; experience with FOAK/NOAK deployments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project performance against baseline (scope, schedule, budget, EVMS).
• Lead integrated planning across design, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning and turnover.
• Establish governance routines with weekly/monthly reviews and risk management.
• Identify and resolve issues to protect critical path and licensing milestones.
• Present program status to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Develop cross-functional teams and align external partners to an integrated plan.
• Apply PMI PMBOK and EVMS practices for cost/schedule control and performance improvement.
• Manage risk and regulatory interfaces; perform other duties as assigned.
