Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Senior Operations Technician Energy to support nuclear operations. You will lead safety-oriented process activities, operate forklifts and hoists, and ensure compliance with DSA/TSR and ALARA principles.

Requires a high school diploma; 4 years DOE/Nuclear Operations experience preferred; US citizenship required. Expected compensation is $21–$35 per hour depending on skills and location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years of DOE/Nuclear Operations experience preferred.
• Forklift or manlift experience preferred.
• Hoisting and rigging experience preferred.
• Experience with fissile materials and radiological areas preferred.
• Basic MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Stop work when unsafe conditions arise.
• Ensure compliance with safety documentation and procedures.
• Oversee support personnel to comply with ESH&Q and site requirements.
• Identify potential incidents and report to supervisor.
• Operate equipment and perform rigging and lifting tasks.
• Support ISMS principles and safety culture.
