Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Nuclear NEPA Permitting Project Manager to oversee NEPA compliance and environmental permitting for nuclear energy projects, including advanced reactors and SMRs. You will lead environmental reviews, coordinate with regulators, and drive planning, licensing, and client engagement.

The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, developing proposals and cost estimates, and delivering compliant, defensible environmental strategies for energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience managing NEPA projects including EA/EIS.
• Experience with environmental permitting for nuclear or energy infrastructure.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and develop proposals/cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Lead NEPA documentation, environmental studies, and permit applications for nuclear/SMR projects.
• Manage environmental review and permitting efforts; coordinate with regulators and stakeholders.
• Develop integrated environmental review, permitting, and licensing strategies.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
