Job summary

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Medical Radigrapher: TX (MRAD)
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) OR Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology (RTN)
  • CPR-BLS (W/ American Heart Association)
  • Associates Degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates mastery of all Nuc Med Tech I Accountabilities/Responsibilities and has completed a minimum of 1 year service in the Nuc Med Tech I position
  • Performs in‑vitro/in‑vivo studies as outlined in the nuclear medicine procedure manuals. Makes determinations of the validity of the data collected before submission for interpretation
  • Mentors new employees and students on the proper use of the camera/computer systems, study procedures
  • Assists with the formal clinical/technical education process of the department by preparing and presenting 2 staff in‑services per year on a topical subject
  • Independently performs all Functions regarding the safe and compliant operation of the radiopharmacy and all associated documentation. Educates and mentors qualified staff on proper radio, pharmacy procedures
