Job summary

Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to provide diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based imaging. You will perform advanced Nuclear Medicine procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and uphold stringent radiation safety.

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years Nuclear Medicine experience required at hire.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or RTNMT credentials preferred.
  • Texas radiographer license required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures and prepare diagnostic images and data.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and ensure radiation safety throughout procedures.
  • Mentor new staff and students on camera/computer systems and study protocols.
  • Respond to deviations in processes or procedures professionally and promptly.
  • Contribute to department education with staff in-services.
  • Ensure safe and compliant operation of radiopharmacy and related documentation.
