Qualifications

• Formal training in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Must hold current license to practice in Rhode Island and ARRT or CNMT certification.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and performs patient studies and analyses as per department procedures.
• Operates gamma cameras, uptake units, dose calibrator, well counter, PACS, and related equipment.
• Processes and verifies images in PACS for radiologist review; bills patients with correct codes.
• Performs daily quality assurance on imaging and monitoring instruments; notifies manager of irregularities.
• Transports patients, maintains sterile & safe workflow, and supports training of staff and students.
