Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and position them correctly.
• Calculate and administer radiopharmaceutical dosages.
• Operate gamma cameras and scanners to acquire images and measure isotope concentrations.
• Adjust controls to ensure exam quality.
• Calibrate and perform QC on department equipment.
• Handle patient charts, scheduling, data recording and calibration logs.
• Assist in Nuclear Medicine training programs for students.
• Maintain clean and orderly examination areas.
