Job summary

Methodist Hospital Texsan seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Graduation from a Nuclear Medicine training program and ARRT/NMTCB certification, plus at least two years of hospital experience, are required. You will supervise staff, manage equipment, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering compassionate service to patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
• Minimum 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.
• ARRT (R) or ARRT (N) or ARRT (T) or NMTCB or Texas Department of Health Certification

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel within and responsible for the effective planning and operation of the section(s).
• Leads both formal and informal meetings to maximize the group’s success and foster open expression of ideas.
• Maintains inventory and equipment service records; coordinates preventive and emergency maintenance.
• Assesses impact of decisions on other sections and communicates with managers/directors.
• Gathers data to identify issues, defines problems, and evaluates alternatives before acting.
• Uses resources effectively to maintain productivity as directed by the Department Director and admin.
