Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s Methodist Hospital Texsan in San Antonio is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support high-quality patient care and imaging services. The ideal candidate will have graduation from a Nuclear Medicine training program, 2 years of hospital-based experience, and valid ARRT/NMTCB certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
• Two years' hospital-based nuclear medicine experience.
• Must hold ARRT (R)/(N)/(T) or NMTCB certification and Texas Radiologic Technologist certification.
• Must complete ongoing competencies per service line and department.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel and plans/operates sections.
• Leads meetings and fosters open communication; builds team performance.
• Maintains inventory and equipment service records; coordinates maintenance with vendors.
• Considers impact of decisions across the organization and communicates with leadership.
• Gathers data to identify issues and evaluates alternatives before acting.
• Uses resources to maintain productivity as directed by department leadership.
• Adheres to safety policies and ensures safe operation of equipment.
