Job summary

The position offers a hybrid schedule with in-office work three days per week, extensive exposure to automation and data-driven workflows, and opportunities for cost-estimating engineering

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 5+ years of experience in the power industry; working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations for nuclear plant mechanical design.
• PE license is beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Modify packages for operating nuclear power plants.
• Prepare or review functional mechanical drawings and procurement documents for plant equipment.
• Conduct engineering analyses and evaluations to support modifications and operation of plant systems.
• Prepare vendor bid evaluations for plant equipment.
• Study options evaluations for modifications to operating plants.
