Job summary

ReNuke Services is seeking a Nuclear Licensing Engineer SME for our client’s site in Charlotte, NC. This senior individual contributor specializes in licensing and regulatory matters affecting compliance, NRC inspections, and operability.

You will prepare high-quality regulatory documents, provide mentoring to junior Regulatory Affairs staff, and support external interfaces that impact licensing programs. Per diem is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 15 years nuclear licensing experience.
• Relevant licensing experience in power uprate licensing documentation is preferred.
• Mentoring for junior Regulatory Affairs staff is part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality regulatory products in a timely manner.
• Support NRC inspections and licensing processes and programs.
• Mentor junior Regulatory Affairs staff and provide regulatory guidance.
