Job summary

Portland General Electric is seeking a Senior Nuclear Licensing Specialist for the Trojan ISFSI to support licensing bases, regulatory compliance, and agency interfaces. Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 10+ years in power/energy industry with at least 3 years in nuclear licensing or equivalent managerial experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, maintains and processes licensing documents.
  • Interacts with NRC, states and local agencies; coordinates submittals and RAIs.
  • Leads or conducts screenings/evaluations to ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Plans, coordinates and conducts emergency planning drills and exercises.
  • Ensures compliance with 10 CFR Parts 72/73 and ANSI/ASME guidance; oversees change control and document management.
