Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, Nuclear to lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts on advanced nuclear technologies, including AMR and SMR across the full project lifecycle. You will ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence while interfacing with clients, regulators, and technology suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required
• Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering experience in nuclear, industrial or heavy manufacturing environments
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams on capital projects
• Strong knowledge of EPC execution models, regulatory requirements, and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct multidisciplinary engineering teams across Nuclear, Mechanical, Process, Electrical, I&C, Civil/Structural, and safety disciplines.
• Act as Engineering Manager and Design Authority for major nuclear projects from feasibility through commissioning.
• Develop and oversee engineering execution strategies, governance, and procedures to ensure safe, on-time delivery.
• Support licensing strategies and regulatory engagements with domestic and international authorities.
• Present technical status, risks, and recommendations to executives and clients.
