Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced NQDC Plan Consultant in New York to provide strategic advisory on nonqualified deferred compensation plan design, governance, and competitiveness. You will partner with sales, implementation, and product teams to deliver optimized plans and client-ready recommendations.

The role requires deep knowledge of COLI and plan funding, plus strong communication and project-management skills. Collaboration across FinAdvisor teams and corporate clients is essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant financial services experience focusing on Nonqualified Deferred Compensation plans and COLI.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Consultative approach to working with institutional clients.
• Strong COLI product knowledge.
• Proven ability to communicate the economic, tax and financial benefits of various informal funding vehicles.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior NQDC plan consulting resource for institutional clients, prospects, and internal partners.
• Advise clients on NQDC plan design, features, eligibility, deferral and distribution structures.
• Conduct strategic reviews of existing NQDC plans and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with relationship management teams on high-value client conversations.
• Translate complex NQDC concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
• Develop client-facing presentations and recommendation documents.
