Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance framework (ASME NQA-1). You will plan the annual schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You will audit against 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21, maintain qualification records, and guide a team of auditors and technical specialists. Travel to project sites and Sugar Land HQ is expected with NRC-ready documentation.

Competenze

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days (written exam per NQA-1 Part II Subpart 2.23)
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1
• ASQ CQA a plus
• Ability to write audit reports that NRC inspectors can follow without additional discussion
• Comfort delivering findings to stakeholders who caused issues

• Lead audits end to end: notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services
• Recommend approved-supplier-list actions and conduct surveillances
• Classify findings, issue corrective actions, verify effectiveness, and close with evidence
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support related audits
