Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. seeks a Project Team Leader at the Lafayette Engine Center to drive a critical LPSD capacity expansion initiative.

You will lead high-performing cross-functional teams using NPI/NSI processes to deliver incremental engine/genset deployment from launch through gateway 6. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and experience leading complex programs, with strong planning, communication and cost-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology is required.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and coaching resources.
• Strong planning, scheduling and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-visibility LPSD capacity expansion projects from launch through gateway 6, coordinating multiple functions.
• Manage resources, budget, and schedule; report status to stakeholders and affected functions.
• Guide and develop the project team, ensuring effective governance and controls.
