Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Project Team Leader to drive a high-visibility capacity expansion within the Large Power Systems Division.

You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver incremental 3600 engines/gensets using the NPI/NSI processes from launch through gateway 6. This role coordinates with multiple functions to plan, execute, and control resources and costs, while ensuring alignment with customer expectations and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of Caterpillar engine NPI/NSI Process.
• Ability to assemble and align resources quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Orders/Scheduling, Logistics, Supply Chain, Assembly/Test, Operations to manage project resources.
• Oversee project progress and capital costs; communicate status with stakeholders.
• Influence staffing and develop project team members.
• Communicate with customers and manage expectations using project controls and reporting.
