Job summary

GE Aerospace in Dayton, OH is seeking a Sr. Launch Manager - NPI to lead new product introductions from certification to rate production. You will drive cross-functional teams across engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing, owning risk, cost, and schedule decisions to ensure on-time launches.

You will guide tollgates, MRAs, and readiness reviews, shaping strategy and resource use while delivering manufacturability improvements and cost targets. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of aerospace manufacturing engineering experience
• Master's degree in Engineering preferred
• PMP and APQP/PPAP experience are plus
• Experience with MRL and NPI tollgates is desirable
• Design for Manufacturing/Cost expertise is a plus
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams through NPI tollgates and readiness reviews
• Provide cost and schedule inputs for NPI program plans
• Define supply chain and strategic plans for new product proposals
• Manage Manufacturing Readiness Level and coordinate risk abatement
• Organize projects for new product introductions, equipment, layout optimization
• Travel 10–25% for non-local assignments
