Job summary

The Bachrach Group seeks a Sr NPI Engineer in the Pittsburgh, PA area to coordinate cross-department activities for new product introductions and manage complex engineering projects. You will drive DFM/DFT reviews and readiness milestones, interfacing with customers and internal teams to resolve design, quality, and process issues.

Ideal candidates have PCBAs and full system integration experience, strong soldering knowledge, ERP exposure, and proven project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years or Associate's with 6+ years in manufacturing/engineering.
• Specialize in PCBAs and full system integration.
• Strong knowledge of soldering operations.
• Design support, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and supply chain management.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Syteline.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Previous project management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities across departments as new products are introduced into production
• Lead DFM/DFT reviews, kickoff meetings, and readiness reviews
• Serve as primary interface between customers, engineering teams, and internal departments to resolve design, quality, process, and material issues
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously using a structured phase-gate process
• Drive continuous improvement and develop innovative solutions to manufacturing challenges
