Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation is seeking a Project Manager II for the New Product Development team. You will lead cross-functional efforts from concept through launch, ensuring governance, disciplined execution, and alignment to customer requirements, quality standards, and business objectives.

You will oversee multi-project development across hardware/software, validation, and supplier coordination, driving integrated planning and release readiness to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical discipline.
• Advanced Project Management (PMBOK, Waterfall) concepts including scheduling, planning, risk mitigation, financial analysis.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• 5+ years of demonstrable Project Management experience.
• Experience handling large New Product Development projects and multi-team coordination.
• Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Proficient in English language.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional (and cross-organizational) project meetings to drive actions and decisions.
• Own end-to-end planning and control of scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare governance packages and challenge project readiness at gates.
• Influence diverse teams to enable timely decisions and execution.
• Co-facilitate workshops to improve execution and team effectiveness.
• Identify stakeholders and build well-rounded project teams across functions.
• Identify and manage risks, conflicts, and execution barriers.
• Use PM tools to ensure deliverables and milestones.
• Provide supervision and escalate when scope or maturity risks commitments.
• Define deliverables and manage interdependencies across functions and partners.
• Challenge status quo to drive simplification and efficiency.
• Integrate financial planning and resource allocation into project plans.
• Ensure clear communication and archiving of project artifacts.
