Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience in industry or education.
• Master's Degree with 3 years of experience in industry or education.
• Ph.D. with industry experience or education.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end mechanical design of fixtures, tooling, workstations, test systems, and custom equipment for new products, process scale-up, and capacity expansion.
• Develop new equipment and upgrade existing equipment to eliminate bottlenecks, improve uptime and capacity.
• Create and evaluate fixture concepts using analysis, prototyping, testing, and risk assessment.
• Evaluate equipment alternatives and recommend solutions based on capacity, feasibility, quality risk, reliability, cost and complexity.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, specs, tolerances, and GD&T documentation.
• Apply DFM/DFMEA, reliability, maintainability, ergonomics, and EH&S principles throughout development.
• Troubleshoot and iterate designs to resolve mechanical, equipment, process, and manufacturability issues.
• Collaborate with internal shops, external fabricators, equipment integrators, and suppliers for refinement and deployment.
• Lead verification, qualification, validation plans, criteria, and reporting.
• Document equipment specs, spare parts, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and training materials.
