Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Irvine to lead hands-on on the production floor, drive risk mitigation, and improve manufacturing readiness. You will partner with operators, technicians, and multi-functional teams to deliver quality device builds in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, process optimization, CAPA handling, and strong documentation, with opportunities to mentor engineers and promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related scientific field with 4+ years of experience in industry or education.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering with 3+ years of experience in industry or education.
• Hands-on engineering support for manufacturing builds and development, including pilot production and sustaining activities.

Responsabilités

• Provide engineering leadership on manufacturing and development builds on the production floor.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment and resolve issues during critical builds.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Quality, R&D, NPD, and Sustaining Engineering to strengthen manufacturing readiness.
• Develop training materials, work instructions, and technical documentation for consistent execution.
