Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Senior NPD Manufacturing Engineer to own the development, qualification, and transfer of manufacturing technologies for new products within the AI&T BU. You will work with R&D, QA, and Pilot Operations to ensure scalable, compliant, and high-throughput processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on equipment design, fixture development, and process improvement to meet production forecasts while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Science with relevant experience.
• Master’s or PhD with industry/education experience in engineering or science.
• Proficiency in CAD and MS Office; familiarity with MS Project is a plus.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical ownership to develop, qualify, and transfer manufacturing technologies.
• Lead end-to-end mechanical design of fixtures, tooling, and equipment for new products and capacity expansion.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Pilot Ops, Sourcing, Facilities, and suppliers.
• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, BOMs, specs, tolerances, and GD&T.
