Job summary

Generac Engineering is seeking an Engineering Project Manager II to lead and manage product development programs, including new product introductions, cost reduction, technology integration, and lifecycle support.

This role partners with product management, engineering, service, manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, quality, IT, and finance to deliver superior products on schedule and within cost targets, while advancing GDP milestones and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7 years of progressive work experience in engineering and related fields.
• 5 years of project management in product development of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management leadership for new product development projects with schedules and cross-functional coordination.
• Implement product requirements into project scope and design realization.
• Lead execution with engineering and product management for development initiatives.
• Plan and manage multiple large projects to meet schedule, cost, scope, and quality.
• Define risk and mitigation plans and drive contingency options when needed.
