Job summary

Generac Power Systems, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Project Manager II to lead product development initiatives, including new product introductions, cost reduction, technology integration, and lifecycle support.

The role requires strong cross-functional leadership and a deep understanding of quality systems and business planning. You will work with product management, engineering, service, and manufacturing operations to drive projects that deliver superior products for customers, while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
7 years of progressive work experience in engineering, project engineering, brand/product management of equipment, machinery, or other powered products.
5 years of project management experience in product development of industrial/commercial equipment, machinery, or other powered products.

Responsibilities

Provide project management leadership to teams for new product development projects including: creating schedules, building product development plans, integrating cross-functional team activities.
Implement product requirements into project scope, design and product realization requirements.
Lead key project execution in collaboration with engineering and product management for new product development or similar initiatives.
Plan and execute multiple large, complex projects to meet or exceed schedule, cost, scope and quality commitments.
Define and drive risk and mitigation plans for projects and lead contingency option assessments when needed.
