Job summary
CIRCOR Pumps North America is seeking a Senior NPD Design Engineer to lead the development of next-generation positive displacement gear and screw pump technologies. You will own the full design lifecycle, from market translation to validated prototypes, in collaboration with BD, QA, and Operations.
The ideal candidate has strong CAD skills (Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Creo), hands-on experience with FEA, DFMEA, and DFM/DFA, and a track record of leading cross-functional teams in industrial
Qualifications
- Lead end-to-end design processes with 3D CAD and 2D drawings.
- Perform FEA and engineering calculations to verify safety and performance.
- Coordinate DVP&R testing for new product designs.
- Conduct DFMEA and risk analyses to mitigate failures.
- Drive DFM/DFA to minimize cost and cycle time while maintaining quality.
- Oversee prototype fabrication and testing across multiple aspects.
- Create and maintain BOMs, ECOs, and design specs.
- Support shop floor with manufacturing and assembly troubleshooting.
- Research new methods, materials, and technologies to reduce cost and improve performance.
- Provide pre- and post-sale customer support as required.
Responsibilities

- Translate market requirements into engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with BD, QA, Operations, and Director of Engineering.
- Lead cross-functional teams on complex technical projects.
