Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• NP Certification in specialty area preferred.
• New York State License with current registration as a registered professional nurse; Certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical operations within the program, using data-driven problem solving to improve processes and outcomes.
• Recruits, orients, trains, coaches, counsels, mentors, disciplines, and evaluates staff in accordance with internal policies.
• Develops, maintains and reconciles departmental budgets with financial oversight.
• Plans, develops, and maintains departmental standard operating procedures and reviews policies for changes.
• Coordinates educational and performance improvement activities within a designated clinical specialty.
• Establishes goals and operating procedures for high-level nursing performance and coordinates day-to-day educational program activities.
