Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• NP Certification in specialty area preferred.
• New York State License with current registration as a registered professional nurse. Certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical operations within the program and uses data-driven methods to improve processes and outcomes.
• Recruits, orients, trains, coaches, counsels, mentors, disciplines, and evaluates staff.
• Develops and manages departmental budget with financial oversight.
• Plans and maintains departmental standard operating procedures and reviews policies.
• Coordinates educational and performance improvement activities with nursing, medical and quality leadership.
• Designs action plans to support clinical performance and competency and provides resources for nursing care delivery.
