Job summary

RSF Social Finance seeks a full-time Senior Financial Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, reporting, and internal controls in a nonprofit context. This role emphasizes accuracy and process improvement while collaborating with on-site and remote teams.

You will support monthly close, reconciliations, and tax filings, ensuring GAAP-compliant financial statements and coordination across departments. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience and a degree in Accounting.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience in a multi-funded environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; knowledge of Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting processes and reporting.
• Reconcile investments and maintain cash levels as needed.
• Assist in month-end close, CAM and cost allocation and daily cash reconciliations.
