Job summary

Arc Human Services is seeking a senior accounting leader reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. You will supervise AR, AP, accounting staff, payroll administrator, and Rep Payee Manager, directing double-entry accrual accounting across multiple cost centers.

You will oversee close processes, reporting, audits, and compliance. The role requires CPA-eligible or CPA experience, 5–7+ years in accounting/finance, and nonprofit sector familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Approximately 5-7+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience anticipated.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience in non-profit human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the agency's accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.
• Oversee month-end close, balance sheet analysis, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with independent auditors.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for multiple cost centers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ERISA requirements.
