Job summary

Center for Human Development, Inc. (CHD) seeks a seasoned Controller to lead all accounting, accounts payable, cash management and payroll for a $180 million not-for-profit agency serving Massachusetts and Connecticut.

The Controller reports to the CFO and drives internal control policies, with growth prospects in a large, dynamic organization. This on-site, full-time role requires a Master's degree in accounting or business, 10+ years of progressive experience in a large organization, and CPA

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting or business administration.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in a large system or department; nonprofit experience preferred.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to accounting, accounts payable, cash management, and payroll functions and staff.
• Develops and monitors accounting and payroll systems to meet changing needs of the agency.
• Manages GAAP-compliant financial reporting and regulatory filings.
• Prepares financial statements and reports to summarize current and projected financial position.
• Ensures integrity of all financial information and internal controls.

Education
