Aprio is seeking a Senior Advisor for its Nonprofit Consulting Group to lead interim CFO engagements and provide high-level financial leadership across nonprofit clients. Qualifications

• 20+ years of accounting experience, including nonprofit CFO experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for senior advisory engagements.
• Ability to autonomously guide finance teams and present to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead interim CFO engagements and provide strategic financial oversight.
• Perform high-level financial reporting and analysis for executives.
• Manage cash flow analyses and projections for liquidity planning.
• Assess staffing needs and optimize resource allocation.
• Monitor budgets and conduct variance analyses with the Finance team.
• Review Board reporting for governance alignment.
• Develop and adopt Investment Policy Statements when needed.
• Provide mentorship to the Finance Director and finance team.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the CEO to align priorities.
• Accept other work as assigned.
