Job summary

Aprio NPCG is seeking a seasoned nonprofit CFO to lead the organization’s finance and accounting functions. The role requires directing a high-performing team, presenting to leadership and governance, and ensuring strategic financial oversight for a dynamic nonprofit.

• 20+ years of accounting experience, including nonprofit CFO experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent; CPA preferred.
• Ability to lead the nonprofit organization's finance and accounting team and present to leadership and governance.
• Willingness to work on-site at client locations and travel as requested.

Requirements

• 20+ years of accounting experience, including demonstrated experience operating as a nonprofit chief financial officer.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent. CPA preferred.
• Ability to autonomously lead the nonprofit organization’s finance and accounting team as well as present to leadership and governance.
• Aptitude to effectively prioritize and manage client and Aprio NPCG staff on a daily basis.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust and confidence with professionals at all levels, both within the client organization and Aprio NPCG.
• Ability and willingness to work on-site at various client locations and travel to client locations and meetings as requested.
