Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in accounting/bookkeeping including accounts payable and accounts receivable for small businesses.
• Proficiency in Excel financial modeling is required.
• Intacct is our accounting program – experience with Intacct is a BIG plus; QuickBooks/Peachtree or similar packages are relevant.

Responsibilities

• Provided a variety of bookkeeping and accounting services to multiple locations.
• Accounting assistance, reconciliation, and analysis; response/resolution
• Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions
• Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
• Manage month and quarter-end processes including bank reconciliations and preparing financial reports for management including cash flow reports
• Communicate and resolve issues in a timely manner regarding payments, payment amount discrepancies, accrual management, as well as any additional bookkeeping issues that may arise
• Audit accounting records to verify accuracy
• Communicate with employees and management to assist with scheduling and employee support if needed.
