C&Y Global Inc. is seeking a procurement professional to manage the purchase of non-ferrous scrap metals and to grow partnerships with international and domestic customers. The role includes regular travel to meet objectives and drive market opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in the non-ferrous scrap industry, a strong network, and proven negotiation skills to excel under pressure while delivering customer-focused results. This is a full-time, in-person position in Cleveland, OH.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ to 5+ years of experience in the non-ferrous scrap industry.
• Extensive professional network of suppliers and customers in non-ferrous metals.
• Ability to excel under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and make market-driven decisions.
• Team player with strong relationship-building inside and outside the organization.
• Excellent negotiation skills and integrity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to influence others and effect change.

Responsibilities

• Purchase of non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Develop and grow partnerships with international and domestic customers; travel as needed.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and customers.
• Provide excellent customer focus to drive client satisfaction.
• Understand market trends in non-ferrous metals.
• Assist in developing strategic plans for sourcing and sales of material.
• Develop knowledge of scrap metal markets and pricing tools.
