Job summary

C & Y Global Inc. is seeking a results-driven professional for non-ferrous scrap procurement in the Cleveland area. You will build partnerships with domestic and international customers, negotiate terms, and monitor market trends to optimize sourcing and pricing.

The role demands strong negotiation skills, a broad network, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving market. This is a full-time on-site position with travel as required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in the non-ferrous scrap industry.
• Extensive network of suppliers and customers in non-ferrous metals.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

C&Y Global Inc. is one of the fastest growing scrap-metal recycling companies, with warehouses in Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Kansas City, St. Louis, Cleveland, Oakland, Atlanta, Oklahoma and Denver. Hours:

Monday- Friday; 8am- 5:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the purchasing of non-ferrous scrap metals.

• Develop and grow partnerships with international and domestic customers. Includes consistent communication and regular travel to meet end objectives
• Negotiating skills that combine the characteristics of a professional relationship and a well-developed strategy
• Provide excellent customer focus to result in client satisfaction
• Understand market trends within the non-ferrous metals markets
• Assist in developing strategic plans for generating new sources and sales of raw material
• Develop knowledge of scrap metal markets and the various tools necessary to compete (terminal markets, swaps, tolls, formula pricing, hedging, etc.)

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum of 3+ to 5+ years of successful experience in the non-ferrous scrap industry
• Extensive professional network of suppliers and customers within the non-ferrous metals industry
• The ability to excel under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, rapidly process information and make decisions based on market dynamics
• Team player with the ability to build relationships and effectively interact both internally and externally with people at all levels of the organization
• Excellent negotiations skills
• Microsoft Office experience
• Demonstrated ability to influence others and effect change
• Highest level of personal and professional integrity
