Job summary

Veli Technologies Ltd. seeks a Senior Node.js engineer to join the VeliHorizon team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services built on Node.js and microservices architecture.

The role focuses on performance, REST/gRPC APIs, and data-driven solutions for a high-scale iGaming platform. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of backend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, and hands-on work with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of backend development with JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js).
• Experience with NestJs.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Experience with Redis.
• Strong proficiency in REST API and gRPC APIs.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Node.js.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Handle asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and non-blocking I/O.
• Work with microservices and containers, CI/CD pipelines.
