Job summary

Snai is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable Node.js services. You will work with NestJS and TypeScript in a microservices-based architecture, owning features end-to-end.

Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, QA, and Product teams in a hybrid work environment. You will mentor engineers and raise the engineering bar while focusing on performance, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development with Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with NestJS and TypeScript in production.
• Strong microservices and REST API design knowledge.
• Experience with auth mechanisms (JWT/OAuth) and data modeling.
• Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain microservices with clear contracts and resilience.
• Design REST APIs and internal service communication with proper versioning.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and align with engineering guidelines.
• Integrate third‑party services and ensure security and observability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and mentor others.
