Job summary

Jibe Ventures in the United States is seeking an experienced Backend Team Leader to guide and mentor a growing engineering group building our next-generation web3 platform. This hands-on role combines leadership with practical coding in Node.js and TypeScript to deliver scalable services.

You will own key backend services, drive best practices, and collaborate across teams to ensure reliability, performance, and rapid delivery on AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of backend development experience in NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Proven experience with Docker, Rest API, microservice architecture.
• Proven experience delivering large backend projects.
• Familiarity with AWS / Google Cloud or similar cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with building, deploying, and maintaining scalable systems on cloud.
• Strong understanding of high availability, reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Identifying issues and bottlenecks with existing services and improving them.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code and inspiring others to do the same.
• Identifying and implementing software engineering best practices.
• Improving development processes by introducing dev tools, common infrastructure, and automation.
