Toffler Associates, Inc. seeks a senior consultant to lead complex, data-intensive engagements in defense and intelligence sectors. You will ensure high-quality work, manage engagement health, guide teams, and strengthen client relationships on-site in Bethesda, MD.

Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and a STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, including NLP/AI governance, ML/NLP pipelines, and systems engineering.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with a polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, or relevant engineering fields.
• 8+ years of work experience in physics, mathematics, computer science, or relevant engineering fields.
• Experience with AI/ML, NLP, and data-intensive environments.
• Knowledge of NLP methodologies such as text classification, named entity recognition, topic modeling, information extraction, or transformer-based architectures.
• Experience developing or evaluating NLP pipelines, including text preprocessing, tokenization, model training, fine-tuning, and optimization for mission environments.
• Understanding of data architectures and pipelines for large-scale analytics/intelligence production.
• Familiarity with AI governance, data quality, bias mitigation, and mission assurance in operational NLP/LLM deployments.
